Our friends and neighbors, Tom and Emily, have a friend who came in August and took some pictures of their dog Sandy and also of the lake views from our beach. I swear Sandy is smiling - no wonder Noah loves her.

Those pics sure make me miss living on the lake... almost as much as finally catching up on your 'blog makes me miss you guys since I began drilling at Det 1.
Congrats on the dress. It's weird to hear you talk about that and, I hate to admit, I almost forgot about this big event, but I'm thrilled for both of you. Just make sure you (YOU... oh yeah, and maybe Mark, a little) enjoy the day. It's not for anyone else and you don't have to fulfill anyone else's expectations for it.
We'll have to talk about "the forces" that led you to your lucky stone!
